Nuclear Mission, NC3 Engineers/Analysts, AFGSC, Barksdale AFB

MDS has several immediately open positions to support a variety of Air Force engineering tasks for our AFGSC, Barksdale operations. These positions are for various Systems Engineering, Financial Analysis, and related Support Personnel, which support in a variety of areas including business, financial and Air Force systems engineering analysis/research. Focus is on Nuclear Command and Control across a plethora of Air Force missions/platforms - however, Nuclear systems experience is not required. Positions cover Jr. to Mid level Analysts.

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Management,Engineering, or Computer Information Systems from an accredited college institution.

  • Possess a Secret Clearance or previously held clearance which has expired (not revoked). Some positions required TS/SCI

  • 3-10 years of experience supporting Air Force operations.

  • Ability ot work full time at Barksdale AFB, LA

  • For some positions Air War College, Masters Degree and/or other Sr. level training is required.

Sr. Operations/Mgmt/Engineering, AFSPC, Col. Springs, CO

MDS is seeking Sr. Operations/Mgmt/Engineering candidates to support a new, currently executing, program for Air Force Space Command (AFSPC). The program supports space focused strategic mission analysis, lessons learned development and related modeling and simulation (M&S), ops/engineering activities. TS clearance required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Air Force space systems/missions/exercises background, strong technical and analytical background preferred (Retired 0-4, O-5, O-6 preferred.)

  • Candidate must have at least an undergraduate degree (Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research, preferred)

  • Experience with working with military model, simulation, decision support tools, and other analysis tools to support operations assessment; as well as lessons learned development/refinement experience

  • Knowledge of Joint and AF Doctrine, CONOPS, CONEMPS and TTPs.

  • Ability to use collaborative communications systems.

  • Strong analytical, presentation, coordination skills.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver briefings to leadership.

Huntsville, Alabama: Missile Systems Development, Engineering

MDS has a number of positions open in support of a new missile systems development program for the US. Air Force. Senior and mid-level engineering support is sought for this long term program focused on the design, prototyping, and testing for the modernization of the nation's ICBM infrastructure. 

Relocation compensation may be available.

Positions may required a security clearance. Several of the technical areas in to be performed include:

- Comms/NC3: Modeling, Design, Engineering (e.g. RF Comms, OPNET)

- Compliance: Nuclear Surety/Safety; Launch Analysis,Cyber Controls

- EM: Nuclear Hardness and Survivability; Electromag Env. Effects; HEMP

- Software: OSA based Software Design, Programming, Test, V&V

- Mechanical: Launch, Flight/Vibration and Propulsion (I&T)

Candidates with military systems and the following are preferred: Bachelor's 10 or more years' experience, Master's with 5 or more years' experience or PhD with 2 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
